St. John Vianney College Seminary in Miami, Florida is hiring for a full-time Dishwasher/ Kitchen Auxiliary who is responsible for keeping the wares for the front and back of the house are clean and sanitized. The Dishwasher/Kitchen Auxiliary will perform a variety of basic janitorial assignments. Actions are normally determined by specific instructions from the supervisor or by following well-defined procedures, methods, and practices. The Dishwasher/Kitchen Auxiliary performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Responsibilities include:

• Wash all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
• Correctly place and store clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
• Stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
• Clean trash receptacles with water or steam.
• Move dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.
• May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
• Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
