Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00am – 3:00pm

What You’ll Do

• Assist with meal preparation, plating, and service for our residents
• Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Support the culinary team in delivering a warm, high-quality dining experience

Requirements

• No certifications required
• Some kitchen or food service experience preferred

The primary responsibility of the Kitchen Assistant is to set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties.

Areas of Responsibility

• Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
• Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
• Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
• Help contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.
