Allegro Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dependable Kitchen Assistant to support the culinary team during lunch and dinner service in a Senior Living community. You will assist with food prep, plating, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

Requirements include at least 1 year of kitchen or food service experience, a team-first attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. No certifications required.

Allegro Fort Lauderdale — Senior Living by Allegro — is looking for a dependable, hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team during our busiest meal service hours. If you have at least a year of kitchen experience and take pride in a clean, efficient, well‑run kitchen, we’d love to have you on our team.

The Schedule:

• Full-Time
• PM Shift: 11:00am – 8:30pm
• Days vary

The primary responsibility of the Kitchen Assistant is to set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties.

Areas of Responsibility

• Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
• Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
• Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
• Help contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
