Job summary

Allegro Winter Park is hiring Part-Time Dietary Aides to join our dining team with morning and afternoon shifts, a rotating schedule, and no late nights.

You’ll serve meals to residents, assist with dining room setup, support kitchen prep, respect dietary preferences, and maintain a safe, welcoming dining environment. Training is provided and no certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
• Food serving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and beverages to residents in a warm, attentive, and respectful manner.
• Assist with dining room setup, table service, and post-meal breakdown.
• Support the kitchen team with food prep and plating as needed.
• Honor resident dietary preferences and individual requests.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Employment Type: Part-Time (8–34 hours/week)
• Shift: AM Shift | Morning & afternoon hours | No late nights
• Schedule: Rotating
• Pay: $15.00/hour
• Multiple openings available

The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.

Areas of Responsibility

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.
