Job summary

Experience Senior Living is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team in Florida, helping to keep dining services clean and efficient for residents. You will work with the Director of Culinary Services to ensure meals are served in a safe, welcoming environment.

This role requires basic skills, a cooperative attitude, and flexibility to cover varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. You will assist cooks, support event meals, and help maintain high cleanliness and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with dining programs.
• Keep kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Maintain dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner.
• Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.
• Check dish machine at the beginning of each shift for chemicals and refill as needed.
• Maintain dish machine after each meal by thoroughly cleaning and maintaining sanitizing temperatures and parts per million levels.
• Record temperature and sanitation levels into the temperature logs before each meal.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned.
• Assist with the transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Attend pre-meal stand up in kitchen prior to meal service.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
