Job summary

The Peacock Inn is seeking a reliable dishwasher to support food service operations in a busy kitchen. You will handle washing, sanitizing and stacking dishes, pots, and utensils while maintaining a clean workplace.

The role assists in keeping prep and service areas organized and orderly to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Responsibilities include stocking supplies, returning items to correct shelves, and maintaining cleanliness of counters, floors, bathrooms, and dining spaces.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish a plus, however, not required.

• Check trash cans regularly and take out trash.
• Run any dirty dishes or unclean plates/utensils through dishwasher.
• Return all plates to front service area and place on proper shelves.
• Have broom and clean mop ready in case of accidents or spills in both front and back of house.
• Make sure all counters, bus bins, glass tops, display cases and dining areas are clean.
• Break down all cardboard boxes.
• Checking, cleaning and restocking of bathrooms.
• Pull up mats from the floor, sweep area and mop both front and back of house.
