Job summary

The Peacock Inn in Bucks County, PA is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to ensure all dishes are cleaned to high standards for our dining service.

You will fill sinks with proper cleaning solutions, run dirty dishes through the dishwasher, return clean ware to the front of house, and keep counters, bins and floors tidy. Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required. Competitive salary, flexible schedule, and comprehensive training are offered.

• Clean and organize dirty pans, plates, containers, etc.
• Check trash cans regularly and take out trash.
• Run dirty dishes or unclean plates/utensils through the dishwasher.
• Return all plates to front service area and place on proper shelves.
• Have broom and clean mop ready for accidents or spills in front and back of house.
• Make sure all counters, bus bins, glass tops, display cases and dining areas are clean.
• Break down all cardboard boxes.
• Check and restock bathrooms.
• Pull up mats, sweep and mop front and back of house.

Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Fill sinks with proper cleaning solutions and change as needed.
• Clean and organize dirty pans, plates, containers, etc.
• Check trash cans regularly and take out trash.
• Run any dirty dishes or unclean plates/utensils through dishwasher.
• Return all plates to front service area and place on proper shelves.
• Have broom and clean mop ready in case of accidents or spills in both front and back of house.
• Make sure all counters, bus bins, glass tops, display cases and dining areas are clean.
• Break down all cardboard boxes.
• Checking, cleaning and restocking of bathrooms.
• Pull up mats from the floor, sweep area and mop both front and back of house.

Physical Demands:

• The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• The employee is frequently required to stand and walk
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision & focus

Working Conditions

• Kitchen environment.
• The noise level in this workplace is usually moderate to high.

Education And Experience

• Bilingual in Spanish a plus, however, not required
