Job summary

Genesis Hospitality in Yardley, PA is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to ensure dishes and utensils are thoroughly cleaned for food service. The role supports kitchen operations and helps maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware.
• Load and unload dishwashing equipment.
• Return clean items to front of house and kitchen areas.
• Assist with trash and recycling duties as needed.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Assist with basic food prep as directed by supervisors.

Job Summary: The dishwasher will make sure dishes are properly cleaned for food service.

Physical Demands: Physical, Mental and Workplace Environment Conditions

• Fill sinks with proper cleaning solutions and change as needed.
• Clean and organize dirty pans, plates, containers, etc.
• Check trash cans regularly and take out trash.
• Run any dirty dishes or unclean plates/utensils through dishwasher.
• Return all plates to front service area and place on proper shelves.
• Have broom and clean mop ready in case of accidents or spills in both front and back of house.
• Make sure all counters, bus bins, glass tops, display cases and dining areas are clean.
• Break down all cardboard boxes.
• Checking, cleaning and restocking of bathrooms.
• Pull up mats from the floor, sweep area and mop both front and back of house.

Working Conditions: Workplace Environment Conditions

• Kitchen environment.
• The noise level in this workplace is usually moderate to high.

Education and Experience:

• Bilingual in Spanish a plus, however, not required
