Job summary

Genesis Hospitality is seeking a part-time Dishwasher for The Peacock Inn in Lambertville, NJ. The role covers afternoon and evening shifts from Friday through Sunday, with duties that keep dishes and kitchen gear clean and organized.

Responsibilities include operating the dishwasher, maintaining sanitation, and supporting front-of-house with cleanware. Bilingual Spanish a plus, but not required. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Fill sinks with cleaning solutions and change as needed.
• Clean and organize dirty pans, plates, containers, etc.
• Check trash cans regularly and take out trash.
• Run any dirty dishes or unclean plates/utensils through dishwasher.
• Return all plates to front service area and place on proper shelves.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and organized.
• Move and break down cardboard boxes.
• Assist with bathroom cleaning and restocking as needed.

Job Summary: The dishwasher will make sure dishes are properly cleaned for food service. This will be a part time position. Afternoon/evenings Friday-Sunday.

Essential Functions

• Fill sinks with proper cleaning solutions and change as needed.
• Clean and organize dirty pans, plates, containers, etc.
• Check trash cans regularly and take out trash.
• Run any dirty dishes or unclean plates/utensils through dishwasher.
• Return all plates to front service area and place on proper shelves.
• Have broom and clean mop ready in case of accidents or spills in both front and back of house.
• Make sure all counters, bus bins, glass tops, display cases and dining areas are clean.
• Break down all cardboard boxes.
• Checking, cleaning and restocking of bathrooms.
• Pull up mats from the floor, sweep area and mop both front and back of house.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by manager.
