Qualifications

• Dishwasher role requires cleanliness and sanitation of glassware, tableware, utensils.
• Ability to follow safety standards in a kitchen environment.
• Willingness to work as part of a hospitality team and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware and utensils; load them into the dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes; transport to proper storage areas and rewash soiled items.
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand as needed.
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster.
• Set up or break down the dishwashing area.
• Clean and roll/unroll mats; maintain clean floor areas.
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning solutions and sanitizers.
• Sweep and mop floors; wipe spills to keep floors dry.
• Notify supervisor if dish machine temperatures fall below safety standards.
• Follow hygiene practices when handling clean vs dirty dishes; participate in additional duties as assigned.
