Belmont Village Senior Living invites applicants to join our team as a Dishwasher during our hiring event in San Jose, CA. This role supports the dining service program by keeping the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well organized to ensure fast, safe meal service for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments.
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist cooks with nonfood preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment.
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries.
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction.
