Job summary

Graziano's Group in Coral Gables, FL is seeking a reliable kitchen teammate to wash dishes, prep equipment, and keep the kitchen and dining areas clean. You will help maintain organization and ensure supplies are ready for service.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and night/weekend shifts. Prior food safety coursework is preferred. Graziano's Group maintains a drug-free workplace and may require a screening.

Qualifications

• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines throughout the kitchen and restaurant.
• Prior completion of food safety coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and/or pans. Using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
• Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Sweep or scrub floors.
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Receive and store supplies.
• Prepare and package individual place settings.
• Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
