Job summary

Graziano's Group is seeking a diligent kitchen helper to clean dishes, utensils, and equipment, and to assist with basic food preparation support. The role requires maintaining sanitary work areas, stocking supplies, and assisting with loading/unloading deliveries.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, work nights/weekends, and lift up to 25 pounds. Food safety coursework is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines throughout the kitchen and restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
• Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Sweep or scrub floors.
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas.
• Receive and store supplies.
• Prepare and package individual place settings.
• Load or unload trucks delivering or picking up food or supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
