Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and organization of dishes and small wares. You will ensure wash criteria are met and help provide an AUS-SOME dining experience by presenting spotless plates and silverware.

Responsibilities include sanitation, restocking, and general restaurant upkeep; must be able to work opens, swings, and closes and lift up to 30 lbs; bilingual English/Spanish a plus in a busy Outback-themed environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining organization and flow, while washing dishes and utensils.
• Practicing food safety and sanitation.
• Restocking kitchen and cook line as needed throughout the shift.
• General cleaning of the restaurant.
• Pace and organization of dish execution.
• Understanding how the dish machine runs and its chemical components.
• Changing out water and chemicals as needed.
• Keeping the floors clean and dry.
• Keeping the plates and smallware clean.
• Inspecting receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Correcting unsafe practices or conditions and notifying management.
