Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machines, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures.
• Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps dish and work areas clean and organized, adhering to safety standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash, sanitizes garbage cans, and transfers supplies as needed.
• Helps load and unload supplies and performs other duties as assigned.
