The role involves washing, sanitizing, and transporting dishes, with responsibilities across dining and kitchen areas to maintain health standards and assist in related tasks as needed.

The position supports residents and staff in a busy senior living environment, requiring compliance with safety policies and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certificate preferred.
• Food Handler’s Permit required by state.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and organize dish storage and washing areas per safety procedures.
• Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, and utensils using dish machines or manual methods.
• Complete general cleanup and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
• Maintain dish machines, sinks, and detergent levels; monitor sanitation levels.
• Ensure water temperature meets cleaning and sanitizing standards.
• Transport meals to CFL neighborhood while maintaining proper temperatures.
