Job summary

MBK Senior Living is hiring a full-time Dishwasher to support dining and kitchen operations across our senior living communities. You will sanitize dishes, assist in meal service, and help maintain spotless dining areas and safe food-handling standards.

Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred, with Serve Safe certification a plus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ or have proper work permit
• Background clearances as required by government regulations
• Complete health screening and provide negative TB results
• Experience in restaurant or food services operations preferred
• Serve safe certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cleans and organizes dish storage and washing areas in accordance with community safety policies (100%)
• Washes all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. and ensures proper sanitation and storage (90%)
• Performs general cleanup and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
• Empties trash and maintains sanitation of dish machine and sinks
• Monitors temperature of water and sanitizer levels; records logs at meals
• Transports food to the CFL program while maintaining proper temperatures
• Assists cooks as needed and serves residents when required
• Ensures inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies supervisor when replenishment is needed
