• We are hiring immediately for a full-time and part-time DISHWASHER position.
• Location: Roper Hospital - 316 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; Days may vary, 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: No prior experience required.
• Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrape and rinse food from dishes, wash by hand or in dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays according to procedures.
• Polish silverware using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keep dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and clean garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies and products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
