Qualifications:

The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory, and issuing banquet and restaurant equipment. Responsibilities include handling, cleaning, and disposing of food and beverages according to procedures. Previous stewarding experience is preferred but not required.

• Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Stores clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment properly
• Assists in food and tray preparation as needed
• Works a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Rate of Pay: $17/hr. DOE

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in various weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat)
• Frequent walking, vehicle operation, and occasional stair climbing
• Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 15 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to twist, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, and climb ladders occasionally
• Repetitive hand and arm movements, pushing, pulling, grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching, and fine manipulation occasionally
