Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen areas in sanitary condition.

Essential Duties:

1. Scrapes, rinses, and washes dishes by hand or in dishwashing machines.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays.
3. Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and procedures.
4. Ensures safety procedures are followed.
5. Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
6. Keeps dish area orderly and clean.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
8. Washes work surfaces and food prep areas.
9. Removes trash and maintains waste containers.
10. Transfers supplies and helps load/unload supplies.
11. Performs additional duties as assigned.
