We are hiring immediately for a full-time Dishwasher position.

Location: Alexion New Haven - 100 College Street, New Haven, CT 06510. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior dishwashing experience preferred.

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrapes, rinses, and washes dishes by hand or in dishwashing machines to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays following procedures.
• Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains proper chemical and temperature levels.
• Keeps dish area clean and organized, complies with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors; cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash, cleans garbage cans, and transfers supplies as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
