Job description

Job Title: Dishwasher

Location: GISNY - 50 Partridge Road, White Plains, NY 10605 (Online applications accepted only)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements: No experience required. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen work areas in sanitary condition. Performs duties such as washing dishes, pots, pans, polishing silver, cleaning work surfaces, and maintaining safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Scrapes, rinses, and washes dishes by hand or machine ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays.
3. Polishes silverware and ensures cleanliness.
4. Follows safety procedures and maintains proper chemical and temperature levels.
5. Keeps dish area orderly and clean.
6. Washes food prep surfaces and equipment.
7. Removes trash and maintains garbage areas.
8. Transfers supplies and assists with loading/unloading supplies.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
