Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, in Omaha, seeks a dedicated Dishwasher for the Omaha Marriott Downtown. You will sort, wash, and return dishes and utensils, keeping a clean and efficient workspace and supporting food operations throughout the hotel.

Located in downtown Omaha, the Omaha Marriott Downtown offers a dynamic team and opportunities to grow in hospitality. No prior experience is required; you must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required. Past experience in fast food, stewarding, stocking merchandise, food service, restaurants or general housekeeping helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dish machine to standards, efficiently processing dishes and utensils.
• Unload dish machine, stack, store, and return dishes and utensils to proper area of kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness in dish area and kitchen, including emptying garbage cans and performing general cleaning tasks.
• Ensure floor safety by sweeping, mopping, and drying, and transport soiled ware to designated areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, wipe down countertops, restock supplies, and assist with equipment movement.
• Set up equipment and bus stations for efficient service, anticipating event order needs and performing additional assigned duties.
