Job summary

The Omaha Marriott Downtown is seeking a friendly and dependable Dishwasher to join our hospitality team. You will sort, wash, and return dishes and utensils across hotel food operations, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace in downtown Omaha.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; past experience in fast food, stewarding, stocking merchandise, food service, restaurants or housekeeping helpful.
• Ability to tolerate varied working conditions and perform physical activities (standing, walking, bending, lifting).
• Must be able to change activities quickly.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dish machine to standards, efficiently processing dishes and utensils.
• Unload dish machine, stack, store, and return dishes and utensils to proper area of kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness in dish area and kitchen, including emptying garbage cans and performing general cleaning tasks.
• Ensure floor safety by sweeping, mopping, and drying, and transport soiled ware to designated areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, wipe down countertops, restock supplies, and assist with equipment movement.
• Set up equipment and bus stations for efficient service, anticipating event order needs and performing additional assigned duties.
