Job summary

The Omaha Marriott at the Capital District is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our bustling kitchen operations in downtown Omaha. You will sort, wash, and return dishes and utensils, maintaining a clean, efficient workspace that supports food operations throughout the hotel.

Qualifications

• All applicants welcome, with past experience in fast food or hospitality helpful.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dish machine to standards, efficiently processing dishes and utensils.
• Unload dish machine, stack, store, and return dishes and utensils to proper area of kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness in dish area and kitchen, including emptying garbage cans and performing general cleaning tasks.
• Ensure floor safety by sweeping, mopping, and drying, and transport soiled ware to designated areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, wipe down countertops, restock supplies, and assist with equipment movement.
• Set up equipment and bus stations for efficient service, anticipating event order needs and performing additional assigned duties.
