Cliff House Maine seeks a Steward to join our hospitality team in Maine. You will maintain immaculate cleanliness across kitchen, dining areas, and related spaces, delivering sanitized equipment on time and supporting a smooth operation.

Steward Job Overview: The Steward is part of the team that is empowered to provide exceptional stewarding operations within the kitchens and restaurant. You will work closely with others who, like you, are fully committed to ensuring that all spaces are clean, warm, welcoming and encourage comfort.

Pay Range: $17.40 - $22 per hour

Essential Functions:

• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment while having an impeccable eye for detail.
• Share your passion and knowledge to ensure completion of all cleaning responsibilities.
• Take pride in on-time delivery of clean and sanitized equipment to requisitioning department.
• Communicate kitchen and restaurant service needs throughout the shift and ensure that all requirements and expectations are exceeded.

Qualifications:

• Flexibility. This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun!
• Experience. Previous experience in food and beverage, preferably in a leadership role.
• People Person. The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.
