Job summary

The Dishwasher at P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. ensures a safe and sanitized area for staff and guests.

You wash and sanitize all plateware, drinkware, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, while keeping the dish room clean and organized. We hire immediately for full-time or part-time positions. Competitive hourly pay range is $17.00–$20.00, with benefits eligibility based on hours worked and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learn about all chemicals used in the building and ability to learn to use them properly.
• Ability to work around various levels of temperature, including warm to very warm temperatures in the kitchen.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher and cleans/maintains dishes and utensils.
• Keep the dish room clean and organized.
• Provide assistance to prep cooks and kitchen staff during peak times.
• Load or unload trucks delivering supplies.
• Perform opening, closing and side work.
• Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.
