Job summary

The Dishwasher at P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitized dish area and washing all wares, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. The role requires keeping the dish room orderly and supporting kitchen staff during peak times.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learn about all chemicals used and how to use them properly.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher.
• Wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils.
• Maintain kitchen work areas and utensils in clean conditions.
• Clean food prep areas, facilities or equipment.
• Apply proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Store clean dishes and cookware in proper areas.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
• Assist prep cook and kitchen staff during peak times.
• Load/unload trucks delivering food or supplies.
• Perform opening, closing and side work.
• Clean spills or broken glassware immediately.
