Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in La Quinta, CA is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen and keep dishes, utensils, and equipment clean and organized. You will report to the Food & Beverage Supervisor.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), 1–3 months related experience, and a current Food Handlers Card. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is needed; full-time benefits include medical, PTO, holidays and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Current Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to communicate positively and effectively with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Keep dishwashing area clean and orderly; ensure food safety and sanitation.
• Wash dishes by hand or in the dishwashing machine; return items to storage.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors; clean tables, walls, and equipment.
• Assist kitchen and banquet staff as needed.
• Report safety issues to supervisor.
