Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in Indio, California is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and support restaurant operations. You will clean and organize dishes, pots, and utensils, assist in food preparation areas and support banquet staff as needed.

Applicants should be able to work evenings and weekends, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and follow safety guidelines. Full-time roles include medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, holidays and a 401(k) option after 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Keep dishwashing area clean and orderly; follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash dishes, glasses, pots and pans by hand or in the dishwashing machine.
• Return dishes and equipment to storage areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors; wipe tables and walls per sanitation standards.
• Dispose of garbage properly; manage bottle disposal as required.
• Sort bottles and operate bottle disposal equipment.
• Transport dishes/equipment between work areas and storage.
• Prepare vegetables, set up banquet tables, assist with catering as needed.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
