Job summary

Colton’s Social House in California is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to keep the dining room experience moving. You will wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment, and ensure a clean, orderly dish area throughout shifts.

The role emphasizes staying organized under pressure, fast-paced prioritization, and teamwork to support the kitchen and overall guest experience. Training is available; prior dishwashing experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience welcome but not required.
• Willingness to learn, stay organized and keep standards.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, physical environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and equipment.
• Keep dishes and supplies circulating so each station has what it needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary dish area during the shift.
• Stay ahead of changing priorities and prioritize items for cleaning and return to service.
• Assist with opening/closing setup and breakdown for service.
• Receive and store deliveries; restock dishes, cookware, and supplies.
• Empty trash and maintain waste areas; sweep and mop floors as needed.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to keep service moving.
