Job summary

Trapper's Sushi in Bonney Lake, WA is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of all dishes and kitchenware, supporting safe and efficient kitchen operations. You will help keep areas sanitized, manage supplies, and assist during peak service times with reliability and teamwork.

Must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and obtain a Food Handler's Card within 14 days. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends offered in a fast-paced restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with heat, steam, and wet conditions.
• Food Handler's Card required (or ability to obtain within 14 days).

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware, utensils, and dishes from dining and kitchen areas in a timely manner.
• Load, operate, and unload dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
• Wash large or delicate items by hand as needed.
• Ensure clean dishes and tools are sanitized, organized, and stocked.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when stock is low.
• Inspect and report issues with dishwashing equipment or sanitation concerns.
• Remove garbage, recyclables, and compost per procedures and OSHA standards.
• Clean and sanitize designated kitchen areas and restrooms per guidelines.
• Follow proper chemical handling, labeling, and PPE use.
• Support kitchen staff during peak times and communicate proactively.
• Uphold company values and maintain a safe, inclusive workplace.
