Compass Group USA, operating Levy in venues across the country, is hiring a part-time Dishwasher in California. You will maintain dishes, pots, pans, and prep surfaces in sanitary condition and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform routine tasks.
• Willingness to follow safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses a dishwashing machine depending on equipment.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silverware and maintains overall cleanliness of the dish area.
• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as provided by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors and cleans prep surfaces as required.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and product.
