Pura Vida Miami is seeking a dependable dishwasher to support our fast-paced kitchen. You will wash, sanitize, and organize dishes and utensils, helping maintain a clean, efficient dishwashing area and supporting delivery receiving when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher experience is preferred but not required.
• Must have dexterity to operate dishwashing machines and handle pots/pans with care.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting.
• Familiar with the measurement system used in the facility.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to bend, reach overhead and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops.
• Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen Manager.
• Replenish cleaning supplies such as detergent, sanitizers, and towels.
• Sort and organize clean dishes and equipment for easy access and efficiency.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and storing items appropriately.
• Cross-train across roles to support rapid growth in responsibilities.
• Support with any additional duties assigned.
