Pura Vida Miami is hiring a dependable dishwasher to support our fast-paced kitchen team. You will wash and sanitize dishes, maintain a clean work area, and assist with basic kitchen duties as needed. No heavy prior experience required, but reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dishwasher is preferred but not required.
• Dexterity to operate industrial dishwashing machines, handle pots/pans and other equipment, with attention to detail.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting.
• Familiarity with the measurement system.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to bend and reach overhead often.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized per health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and counters; remove trash as needed.
• Report malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen Manager.
• Replenish cleaning supplies such as dish detergent, sanitizers, and towels.
• Sort and organize clean dishes, utensils, and equipment for easy access.
