Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a part-time Dishwasher for the Events, Catering & Hospitality team. You'll support concerts, weddings, private events, catering, concessions, and daily dining operations, ensuring clean equipment and supplies for a guest-first experience.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify food, beverage, and supply deliveries for accuracy and report discrepancies to the designated manager.
• Stock and organize products in designated storage areas using FIFO practices while maintaining clean and orderly storage spaces.
• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Support café, catering, concessions, banquet, and event operations.
• Restock clean dishes, glassware, and kitchen supplies throughout service.
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and kitchen support as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards.
• Work closely with chefs, cooks, and hospitality staff to keep operations running smoothly.
• Help maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.
