Job summary

Atria Senior Living - Merrimack Place in Newburyport, MA is seeking a kitchen assistant to maintain the dining area and support staff. You will wash, sanitize, and store dishes and ensure the dining room stays clean and organized.

You'll provide high levels of customer service, work with the Directorial Culinary Services to keep residents satisfied with meals, and follow food safety practices. This role offers competitive hourly wages and benefits as part of a comprehensive program.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Wash, clean, sanitize and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Work with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
