True Food Kitchen in West Chicago, IL is looking for a dedicated dishwasher to keep our kitchen spotless and ready for service. You will operate the dish machine, hand-wash pots, and help maintain a clean dish area in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Flexible scheduling includes AM, PM, and mid-day shifts. Part-time or full-time options are available, with competitive wages and benefits such as health coverage options and dining discounts.

Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience is a plus (but not required).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Comfort standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dish machine; ensure proper sanitation levels and report issues.
• Wash, store, and rotate all tableware, cookware, glassware, and utensils.
• Hand-wash pots, pans, and specialty items using a 3-compartment sink.
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room, kitchen, restrooms, and prep areas.
• Keep up with linen and trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and breaking down boxes.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and restocking shelves.
• Support the team with flexibility to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
