Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-2pm

Location: bioMerieux, 1001 South 4800 West, SLC (not downtown)

Your Impact

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for all food pans, sheet pans, food racks, utensils, and kitchenware using machine and manual cleaning methods. Ensure areas used for these tasks are clean, safe, and sanitary.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Check and empty trash bins as needed.
  • Set up and clear pot washing area (3-compartment sink).
  • Check and fill dish machine; record wash/rinse temperatures.
  • Wash soiled items and ensure equipment air dries properly.
  • Sort, stack, and store clean equipment.
  • Sanitize various kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Run dish machine filters, clean jets and screens, and rinse the machine inside and out.
  • Remove trash and cardboard to dumpster.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read labels on chemicals.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

Preferred:

  • Experience in catering, fast food, or food handling.
  • Experience in large-scale food service environments.

Licenses/Certifications: Food Handler's Card.
