Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall is hiring a Dishwasher to support kitchen operations in a fast-paced dining venue in Kentucky. You will safely operate dishwashing equipment and maintain clean, sanitary wares and utensils for the food and beverage service.

Applicants should be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred. The position offers weekly pay, competitive benefits, and opportunities for bonuses within the first year.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Safely use all kitchen equipment and cleaning and sanitizing products following SDS Sheets and standards.
• Understand and adhere to safe sanitary work habits; safe handling, usage and storage of chemicals.
• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine.
• Clean, sanitize and maintain dish machines.
• Clean, transport and store all pots, pans, dining ware, silverware and glassware used in the food and beverage operation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely use all kitchen equipment and cleaning and sanitizing products in accordance with all SDS Sheets and departmental standards.
• Must understand and adhere to safe and sanitary work habits; must understand and adhere to the safe handling, usage and storage of all chemicals used during the performance of duties.
• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine.
• Clean, sanitize and maintain dish machines.
• Clean, transport and store all pots and pans, dinning ware, silverware, and glassware used in the food and beverage operation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or its equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards, and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
