The Mint Gaming Hall in Kentucky is seeking an upbeat bartender to mix and serve drinks, maintain stock, and ensure a clean, inviting bar area. You will interact with guests, balance cash, and comply with safety and alcohol regulations.

We offer weekly pay, health benefits, life insurance, a 401K match, and opportunities for bonuses. This is a full-time position at our casino bar, requiring 21+ age and applicable certifications.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards, alcohol awareness cards and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
• Must be 20+1 day years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain and provide STAR Certification prior to start date.

Responsabilidades

• Mix and serve drinks following specified recipes.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beer, and non-alcoholic selections.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organized work area.
• Monitor inventory and supplies for bar operations.
• Set up and close the bar at shift start/end per company standards.
• Ensure accurate payments and balance cash drawer.
• Attend scheduled shifts and staff meetings.
• Assist guests and provide courteous service throughout the shift.
• Keep ashtrays clean and maintain sanitation of bar equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mix and serve drinks following specified recipes.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beer, and non-alcoholic selections available within the outlet.
• Working knowledge of designated glassware, ingredients, preparation method and garnishes of each drink.
• Maintain an orderly and clean bar, including, but not limited to, bar surface, draught area, coolers, wells, sinks, mixing materials, server area and lounge.
• Maintain product inventory and supplies including all liquors, beers, wines, mixes, garnishes, glassware, ice, and miscellaneous bar supplies throughout shift
• Set up bar at beginning of shift, cut fruit for the day, and close down the bar at the end of each shift in accordance with Company standards
• Ensure receipt of accurate payments, balance cash drawer during shift, and maintain security and accuracy of bank
• Maintain regular attendance at scheduled shift and staff meeting
• Cocktail, bus, and service guests through the shift ensuring a visually appealing environment
• Make sure all ashtrays are clean and empty throughout entire shift.
• Consistently uses all bar equipment, cleaning, and sanitizing products in accordance with all SDS sheets and departmental standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
• Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards, alcohol awareness cards and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
• Must be 20 + 1-day years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain and provide STAR Certification prior to start date.
