CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support a busy kitchen. You will wash and stock dishes, maintain cleanliness of work areas, and assist with food preparation as needed.

Working hours vary; the role operates seven days a week from early morning to late night. The position emphasizes speed, accuracy, and communication with team members to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans by hand or machine.
• Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Maintain clean and orderly kitchen work areas and utensils.
• Prepare and portion foods for serving or cooking.
• Stock supplies in serving stations and storage areas.
• Set up banquet tables and service areas.
• Sweep or scrub floors and sanitize work areas.
• Sort and dispose of trash; ensure proper disposal.
• Receive and store supplies and packaging.
• Attend training sessions as assigned.
• Follow sanitation rules and report equipment repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
• Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Set up banquet tables.
• Sweep or scrub floors.
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Receive and store supplies.
• Prepare and package individual place settings.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Follow all designated uniform, grooming, safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
• Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor.

This is an hourly paid position. Days and hours of work vary according to business hours and job requirements. Business operates seven (7) days a week; and hours start as early as 9 AM and can go as late as 2 AM depending on the work required.
