Dishwasher (Steward) – LittleClam, Wayfinder Newport

LittleClam is a modern New England coastal restaurant located within the boutique hotel Wayfinder Newport. We are looking for a dependable Dishwasher (Steward) to join our kitchen team. This role is essential to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
• Keep workstations, floors, and storage areas clean and sanitary
• Take out trash and recycling and keep disposal areas tidy
• Assist with basic food prep (e.g., peeling, chopping) as needed
• Restock clean dishes and kitchen supplies
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications

• Prior experience required; training provided
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
