Job summary

Boston’s Restaurant and Sports Bar is seeking a Dishwasher to thoroughly clean and sanitize dishes, utensils and cookware, and maintain a tidy work area during shifts. You will operate the dishwashing station, report any issues, and help with basic kitchen cleanup.

Must be eligible to work in the United States. A positive attitude, reliability and ability to stand for extended periods are important; prior kitchen experience is not required, but teamwork and punctuality are expected.

Summary of Position

Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of all dishes, small wares and cutlery during the shift, as well as the general cleanliness of the work area.

Duties and Responsibilities

Business Affairs

• May be required to assist in the training and development of new team members.

• Maintains a professional image and proper uniform standards while performing job related tasks.

Guest Experience

• Responsible for ensuring dishes, small wares and cutlery are clean and sanitized for guests while dining with us.
• May be responsible for cleaning duties throughout the restaurant, ensuring all areas are clean and sanitary for guest use.

Safety & Sanitation

• The health and safety of our guests is a priority; cleanliness of the inside and outside of the restaurant must be adhered to in accordance with BPR and local health department expectations.
• Proper practices must be in place to ensure food safety. This includes controlling time and temperature throughout the flow of food, practicing good personal hygiene and preventing cross‑contamination.
• Proper labeling, dating, rotation and adherence to shelf‑life standards is mandatory.
• Proper checklists and cleaning schedules are followed to ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
• Maintains the dish machine and equipment according to the cleaning and maintenance schedules.
