Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking staff to keep the dish room running smoothly, washing dishes, utensils, and equipment with proper sanitation and maintaining clean/dirty separation. You will support broader kitchen operations and assist with events, handling HACCP logs and food safety standards.

Ideal candidates communicate well with supervisors, staff, and customers, and help train new team members across district locations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, and other physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Keep the dish room running efficiently by washing dishes, trays, utensils, and equipment using proper sanitation methods and maintaining clear separation between clean and dirty areas.
• Support kitchen operations by assisting with general cleaning, organizing storage areas and chemicals, and helping with special events as directed.
• Maintain food‑safety and sanitation standards by following SOPs, completing HACCP logs, and monitoring safety practices throughout the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, school staff, and customers, and report equipment or supply issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory support by replenishing chemicals using proper PPE and alerting supervisors when supplies run low or become worn.
• Contribute to team success by helping train new team members and filling in for other kitchen duties across district locations when needed.
• Ensure proper storage by placing clean dishes and equipment in their designated locations.
