Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. in Sioux City is seeking a part-time Dishwasher for on-site work at Siouxland Christian School. The schedule is Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., offering weekday daytime hours and a predictable routine.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, trays, utensils, and equipment using proper sanitation methods.
• Assist with general cleaning, organizing storage areas, and help with special events.
• Maintain food-safety and sanitation standards by following SOPs and HACCP logs.
• Communicate with supervisors, team members, and staff, reporting issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory by replenishing chemicals and notifying when supplies run low.
• Help train new team members and cover other kitchen duties across locations.
• Ensure proper storage by placing clean dishes and equipment in designated locations.

Dishwasher – Lunchtime Solutions

Location: On-site at Siouxland Christian School

Schedule: Monday–Friday 9am-1:30pm

The Dishwasher helps keep things running smoothly by making sure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and ready to go. In this role you’ll play a big part in keeping the kitchen neat, organized, and safe, all while working alongside a team to keep meal service on track.

What You’ll Do

• Keep the dish room running efficiently by washing dishes, trays, utensils, and equipment using proper sanitation methods and maintaining clear separation between clean and dirty areas.
• Support kitchen operations by assisting with general cleaning, organizing storage areas and chemicals, and helping with special events as directed.
• Maintain food‑safety and sanitation standards by following SOPs, completing HACCP logs, and monitoring safety practices throughout the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, school staff, and customers, and report equipment or supply issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory support by replenishing chemicals using proper PPE and alerting supervisors when supplies run low or become worn.
• Contribute to team success by helping train new team members and filling in for other kitchen duties across district locations when needed.
• Ensure proper storage by placing clean dishes and equipment in their designated locations.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, and other physical tasks including grasping handwasher for long periods of time.
