Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions is hiring a Dishwasher to support an Aberdeen Catholic School kitchen. You will keep dishes and equipment clean, and help maintain a neat, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

The role runs Monday–Friday from 10am to 1:30pm, with opportunities to assist at other district locations as needed. The position includes benefits like paid time off and a 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities

• Keep the dish room running efficiently by washing dishes, trays, utensils, and equipment with proper sanitation and separating clean/dirty areas.
• Support kitchen operations with general cleaning, organizing storage areas, and helping with events as directed.
• Maintain food-safety and sanitation standards by following SOPs and HACCP logs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, school staff, and customers; report issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory by replenishing chemicals and alerting supervisors when supplies run low.

Location: On-site at Aberdeen Catholic School
Schedule: Monday–Friday 10am-1:30pm

The Dishwasher helps keep things running smoothly by making sure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and ready to go. In this role you’ll play a big part in keeping the kitchen neat, organized, and safe, all while working alongside a team to keep meal service on track.

What You’ll Do

• Keep the dish room running efficiently by washing dishes, trays, utensils, and equipment using proper sanitation methods and maintaining clear separation between clean and dirty areas.
• Support kitchen operations by assisting with general cleaning, organizing storage areas and chemicals, and helping with special events as directed.
• Maintain food‑safety and sanitation standards by following SOPs, completing HACCP logs, and monitoring safety practices throughout the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, school staff, and customers, and report equipment or supply issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory support by replenishing chemicals using proper PPE and alerting supervisors when supplies run low or become worn.
• Contribute to team success by helping train new team members and filling in for other kitchen duties across district locations when needed.
• Ensure proper storage by placing clean dishes and equipment in their designated locations.

What You Bring

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, and other physical tasks including grasping handwasher for long periods of time.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
