Job summary

Bally's Quad Cities Casino & Hotel in Rock Island, IL seeks a dependable Dishwasher to support kitchen operations by washing dishes, glassware and silverware and maintaining a clean work area.

You will stock dishes, handle trash and follow safety procedures in a fast-paced environment. Strong English communication and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Wash all dishes, glassware, and silverware, ensuring they are clean, dry and spot free.
• Keep dish area, machine, and racks clean and organized.
• Stock all clean dishes in storage locations.
• Take out trash and replace liners.
• Drain dish machine and disassemble parts for cleaning.
• Sweep and mop every shift or as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain chemicals with proper PPE and restock when needed.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures and stay aware of promotions and events.

Job description

• Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.


• Wash all dishes, glassware, and silverware, making sure they are clean, dry and spot free.


• Keep dish area, machine, and racks clean and organized.


• Stock all clean dishes in storage locations.


• Take trash out of garbage cans and transport to the dumpster. Replacing all can liners.


• Drain dish machine and disassemble parts for cleaning.


• Sweep and mopevery shift or as needed.


• Perform all other duties as assigned.


• Keeping chemicals full and replacing them when needed using the proper PPE (personal protective equipment)


• Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.


• Knowledge of all promotions and events.


• All other duties as assigned.

Environmental Working Conditions:

• The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.


• Target Salary Range $15.50
