Job summary

True Food Kitchen in Plano, TX is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to help keep the restaurant’s kitchen running smoothly during busy lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch service. You will operate and maintain the dish machine, wash and rotate tableware, pots, and utensils, and assist with receiving deliveries while maintaining sanitation, organization, and a clean dish room.

Flexible shifts (AM/PM) and both part-time and full-time schedules are available, with benefits including health care options,

Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Comfort standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dish machine; ensure proper sanitation levels and report issues
• Wash, store, and rotate all tableware, cookware, glassware, and utensils
• Hand-wash pots, pans, and specialty items using a 3-compartment sink
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room, kitchen, restrooms, and prep areas
• Keep up with linen and trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and breaking down boxes
• Assist with receiving deliveries and restocking shelves
• Support the team with flexibility to ensure smooth restaurant operations
