Job summary

Landed is hiring a reliable dishwasher to keep our kitchen running smoothly. You will wash dishes and support the back-of-house team during rushes, ensuring a steady flow of clean items and a safe, organized dish pit.

You will follow health and safety standards, help with basic prep when needed, and coordinate with staff to prioritize during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly using commercial dish machines and manual washing as needed
• Maintain a steady flow of clean plates and tools to keep service moving during peak hours
• Properly sort, stack, and store clean items in designated areas
• Keep the dish pit, floors, and surrounding areas clean, dry, and organized to prevent hazards
• Empty trash and recycling regularly; break down boxes and manage kitchen waste
• Assist with basic food prep, deliveries, or storage organization when needed
• Follow all health and safety standards for sanitation, chemical handling, and food safety
• Communicate with kitchen staff to prioritize items during high-volume periods
